Opportunity:
Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology
Job Details:
- Inpatient Hematology/Oncology APP (PA or NP) position
- Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Full-time coverage required with Mon-Fri schedule
- See 11-16 patients per day across all age groups
- Work within a 686-bed hospital department specializing in Hematology/Oncology
- EMR system: Epic (experience required)
- Must be comfortable working in an unsupervised setting with solid tumor patients
- Experience with benign and malignant hematology patients is required
- APP support available on both hematology and oncology inpatient sides during daytime hours
- Knowledge of bone marrow practice is beneficial but specialized expertise is not required at this time
- Two APP positions available: one focused on Oncology and one with a strong Hematology focus
- Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Board Certification required (PA or APP)
- Active MN state license required
- DEA not required
- IMLC accepted for licensing assistance
- Contract length: 3 months with option to extend; open to locums-to-perm arrangements

The hospital utilizes Epic as its EMR system and provides APP support during daytime hours on both the hematology and oncology inpatient units.
