Lawrence, Massachusetts - Hospitalist Job

- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine hospitalist - client is willing to consider 2027 grads if they are fluent in Spanish, if not, candidates must be able to start prior
- Full-time position
- Join a hospital with a busy emergency center and Level III trauma designation
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Spanish language skills are a plus (not required)
Hospitalist Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and develop treatment plans for adult inpatients
- Communicate with patients and families regarding care plans and progress
- Ensure smooth transitions of care at shift changes and discharge
- Document care appropriately in the medical record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, committees, and teaching opportunities
- Comply with all hospital, Joint Commission, and regulatory standards
Schedule & Clinical Details:
- 7-on / 7-off schedule
- Nocturnist schedule (7p-7a)
- Approximately 6-8 admissions per night
- Admitter coverage until 10:00 PM (physician or NP), then solo until 7:00 AM
- ICU admissions with management support from eICU and ICU NP
- No procedures required
- Cross-cover floor calls
- Respond to codes and rapid responses (ED handles procedures/interventions)
- Average 20 floor calls/messages nightly, 1 rapid response per night, and 1-2 code blues per month

About the Client:
- Base salary: $130-$145/hour (excluding bonuses and benefits)
