Position Details
- Practice setting: Hospital-based pathology laboratory
- Schedule: Weekday coverage with no call
- Required procedures:
- Surgical pathology
- Cytology
- Frozen section analysis
- Annual volume:
- Approximately 13,000 surgical pathology specimens
- Approximately 3,000 cytology specimens
- The physician will be responsible for grossing specimens.
- The physician will cut their own frozen sections using the cryostat.
- Other pathologists will be present during the assignment.
- No supervision of other healthcare providers is required.
