Join a dynamic healthcare team in a 260-bed hospital that offers a robust obstetrics program, including labor and delivery, inpatient OB/GYN care, consultations, surgical interventions, and managing obstetric emergencies. This locum tenens position offers a great opportunity to work in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, providing comprehensive care in a facility with a Level 2 nursery and around 1,500 births annually. The role is flexible with the potential for 8 to 24-hour shifts and requires coverage of approximately 12 shifts per month.

Job Responsibilities- Manage labor and deliveries, including vaginal and C-section deliveries, and obstetric emergencies
- Provide inpatient triage, OB/GYN consultations, and surgical interventions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients on prenatal/postpartum care and women's health
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best practices
Qualifications- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Required certifications: ABLS, BLS
- Experience with low and high-risk pregnancies, routine and complicated deliveries
- Skills in surgical gynecology including both open and laparoscopic procedures
Working Hours- 12 to 24-hour shifts, flexible schedule with a minimum of 8 shifts per month
- Shifts available from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Skills- Expertise in FHR interpretation, amniocentesis, and routine and complicated delivery procedures
- Proficiency in surgical gynecology
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Patient education on prenatal and postpartum care
