What You ll Do
- Provide emergent neurosurgical care including spinal and cranial procedures
- Perform hospital-based surgeries and procedures on-site
- Conduct inpatient rounding for neurosurgical patients
- Manage an expected caseload of 5-10 inpatients daily
- Collaborate with a neurosurgery team including APPs and orthopedic surgeons
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
- Respond to emergent calls and provide timely surgical intervention
What You Need
Required: - Board Certification in Neurosurgery (no BE)
- Ability to perform spinal and cranial surgeries
- Valid medical license for Michigan or the ability to obtain one
- Prior experience in hospital-based neurosurgery
Preferred: - Experience with emergent neurosurgical procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
