We are seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist for a long-term locum opportunity in Northern New York. The client is seeking one physician able to provide consistent coverage 3 weeks per month for a 6 9 month assignment.
Assignment Details
- Start: ASAP (anticipated early August after credentialing)
- Assignment Length: 6 9 months
- Consistent coverage preferred
- One provider covering 3 weeks/month strongly preferred
Schedule
- Monday Thursday
- 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Coverage required 3 weeks per month
Call Coverage
- Night call as needed
- 4:00 PM 8:00 AM
- Used primarily to fill coverage gaps
Practice Setting
- General Cardiology
- Acute Care Hospital + Outpatient Clinic
- Solo physician practice environment
- Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
- Outpatient cardiology clinic
- Hospital consults service coverage
- Stress test supervision
- General cardiology evaluations and follow-up care
Additional Clinical Preferences
- Nuclear stress test interpretation preferred
- Cardiac imaging interpretation experience preferred
- Board certification for cardiac imaging studies preferred but not required
Support Structure
- APP support available initially
- Independent practice environment
- Mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities
Requirements
- Board Certified Cardiologist
- Active New York license required
- Epic experience required
- AHA or RQI certifications required
- 5+ years of experience preferred
- Clean, updated work history required
Credentialing
- Standard credentialing process
- Orientation required
