The Cafe Chef will play a key role in preparing and delivering high-quality breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes featuring our own Fox Hollow Farm seasonal ingredients. This position focuses on food preparation, quality control, and maintaining health and safety standards while supporting front-of-house operations through food running. The ideal candidate will bring culinary expertise and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction in a vibrant cafe setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes with an emphasis on seasonal farm ingredients
- Maintain quality control over all food items
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support front-of-house by running food to customers
- Develop and refine recipes aligned with cafe offerings
- Provide excellent customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in culinary arts
- Food Safety Certification and Food Handler's Permit
- Proficiency in culinary techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
