Board Certified or Board Eligible
Utah license
Utah DEA
Required Procedures / Skills
Thoracic surgery
Cardiovascular surgery
Assignment Details
Level II trauma center
Patient load approximately 10-12 patients per week
Approximately 3-5 consults per 7 days
Approximately 1-3 surgeries per week
Usually 1 cardiac case and 2-3 thoracic cases per week
Practice performs approximately 80 heart cases per year
Support staff includes 1 APP, 1 MA, 1 MOS, and 1 RN
Provider must perform cases independently and has no NP assist
Vein harvest team provided by the hospital
NP available to assist Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM when not on planned PTO
Outside NP availability, the on-call provider is responsible for rounding on patients
