Emergency Medicine Physician

A large coastal South Carolina health system is seeking Locum Emergency Medicine Nocturnists to provide overnight coverage across multiple emergency departments.

• Night shifts only

• 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

• 12-hour shifts

• Cross-credentialing required across multiple sites

• 110,000 annual ED visits across system

• 70 ED beds across four facilities

• 70 APP coverage hours daily

• EMR: Meditech

• Dictation: MModal

• No scribes

Main Campus

• Level I Trauma Center

• Comprehensive specialty backup

Freestanding EDs

• Annual volumes 16 000

• No trauma designation

• Transfer to main campus for higher acuity cases

• ABEM / BEEM only

• Active or eligible South Carolina medical license

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department clinical experience

• Comfortable working overnight shifts in high-volume ED environments

• Prior multi-site emergency department coverage experience

• Experience in Level I trauma centers

• Familiarity with Meditech EMR systems

• High-acuity emergency medicine management

• Trauma assessment and stabilization

• Independent clinical decision-making overnight

• Patient triage and rapid evaluation

• Efficient documentation and EMR utilization

• $225 $250 per hour
