Job description

Anesthesiology Locums - Angola, INLocation

City: Angola
State: Indiana

Assignment Details

Practice Setting: Hospital-Based Anesthesiology
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Day Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
Call Hours: 3:00 PM-7:00 AM
Call: Required when working a full week
Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Guarantee: 8-hour guarantee

Clinical Responsibilities

General anesthesia coverage
High-volume general surgery
Endoscopy procedures
Orthopedic cases
Obstetric anesthesia
Podiatry cases
ENT cases

OB Details

Approximately 250 deliveries per year
VBAC experience required
No high-risk OB
C-sections performed in the Main OR

Procedures Required

Spinals: Proficiency Required
Blocks: Proficiency Required
Epidurals: Proficiency Required

Case Logs

Required
Must provide proof of epidural, spinal, and block experience

Department Details

Daytime Providers: 1 MD / 2 CRNAs
Operating Rooms: 3
Endoscopy Rooms: 2

EMR

Epic

Licenses & Certifications

Board Certification: Required
Active Indiana License: Required

Additional Details

Must be comfortable working independently with CRNA support
Experience with OB, VBACs, and a broad surgical case mix required
