What You ll Do
- Assess and treat patients in the emergency department, including triage and stabilization.
- Perform standard emergency procedures in high-pressure situations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical records (EMR).
- Cover triage roles as volume demands, working alongside emergency physicians.
- Support adults and children with a variety of emergency cases.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
What You Need
Required: - Valid Michigan Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
- DEA registration and Michigan controlled substance license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications
- Emergency department experience working with both adult and pediatric patients
Preferred: - Experience in fast-paced, high-acuity ED settings
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
