Associate Dentist Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including examinations, fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions and more
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
- Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnosis and treatment plans effectively with patients and team members.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records using electronic health record system.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice dentistry as an Associate Dentist.
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with familiarity in dental office software
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control practices, and medical records management.
- Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
