"Orthopedic SurgeonAssignment Details Location: Paducah, Kentucky Practice Setting: Hospital Coverage: Ongoing 24-hour emergency call Initial Coverage: October 7 (7:00 AM) October 12 (7:00 AM) Additional ongoing coverage opportunities availableCompensation:24 Hour On Call - $2500 per 24 hoursCall Back - $470/hrSchedule 24-hour call shifts 7:00 AM7:00 AM Emergency call with callback responsibilitiesClinical Details Patient Population: Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics EMR: Epic Orthopedic trauma and emergency surgical call Required to perform hip nailing procedures Cases include: Fracture and dislocation management Amputations Bone and joint deformities and tumors Total hip, knee, and shoulder replacement/revision Arthroscopy Spinal surgery (with and without instrumentation)Requirements Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery Active Kentucky medical license or active IMLC DEA required BLS certification Orthopedic fellowship preferred COVID-19 vaccination preferred Experience with general operative and non-operative orthopedic procedures Experience with hip and knee replacement procedures Experience with hip and knee repair/revision procedures Arthroscopy experience required Must be proficient in hip nailing procedures Clean background required Must be available for the listed coverage datesCredentialing Ongoing coverage opportunity following the initial assignment
