Locums - Ronceverte, West Virginia, Cardiology Opening (IMLC Accepted)
Clinical Role
- Ideal start date: November 2, 2026, or ASAP
- 6-month assignment with option to extend
- Coverage needed 2-3 weeks per month
- Adult patients ages 18+
- Approximately 22-24 patients per day
- New patient visits: 30 minutes
- Established patient visits: 15 minutes
Schedule & Call
- Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm
- 24-hour call coverage based on the existing call rotation
- When covering hospital call:
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday clinic: 1:00 pm-4:00 pm
- Tuesday and Thursday: Full clinic day
- Minimal nighttime call activity
Practice Setting & Support
- Support from RNs and technicians
- Evaluation and management of new and established patients
- Cardiac risk assessments
- Pacemaker checks
- EKG interpretation and supervision
- Holter monitor placement
- Treadmill and nuclear stress testing
- TEEs
- Cardioversions
Requirements & Credentialing
- Board certification required
- Active West Virginia license or IMLC pathway accepted
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- EKG, TEE, and nuclear stress testing skills required
- DEA required
- CSR required
- Clean background required
