Position Highlights

  • Setting: Inpatient / Emergency Department

  • Assignment Length: Ongoing
  • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
  • No Call Required
  • EMR: Epic
  • Average Patients per Shift: 15
  • Temporary Privileges Available
Schedule
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Need is primarily for night coverage
  • Physicians should be available for approximately 10-12 shifts per month
  • Flexible scheduling available based on provider availability
Requirements
  • Active Oregon medical license
  • DEA required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency)
  • ABEM strongly preferred
  • FM or IM physicians with significant Emergency Medicine experience will be considered
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required
  • NRP highly preferred
  • Must be comfortable performing intubations
Additional Details
  • Level IV Trauma Center
  • Stroke-Certified Facility
  • Low-volume ED environment
  • Physicians typically complete shifts on time with minimal overtime expectations
