- Schedule: Rotating day and night coverage; Monday through Friday
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Hours Per Week: Approximately 36 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,250-$5,620
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Call: No call required
Job Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN required
- Active New Jersey medical license, or willingness to obtain
- At least 1 year of OB/GYN clinical experience preferred
- Experience managing labor and delivery patients in a hospital setting
- Experience with labor floor management and patient inductions
- Experience responding to gynecologic emergencies and inpatient consults
- NPDB within 30 days required at offer
- Providers with minimal malpractice settlements may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient labor and delivery coverage for obstetrical patients
- Manage labor floor operations and oversee patient inductions
- Perform cesarean sections as clinically indicated
- Evaluate and treat gynecologic emergencies presenting through the emergency department
- Provide inpatient gynecologic consultations
- Support continuity of care while helping meet ongoing OB/GYN coverage needs
