Locums - Petoskey, Michigan, Neurosurgery Opening (IMLC Accepted)
Clinical Role
- Hospital-based Neurosurgery coverage
- Approximately 14 days of call coverage needed per month
- 24-hour call with daily inpatient rounding and admissions
- Approximately 5-10 inpatients per day
- Emergent Neurosurgery call and emergent surgical cases
- Must perform both spinal and cranial procedures
Current Coverage Needs
- October 2 at 8:00 am-October 6 at 8:00 am
- October 29 at 8:00 am-November 6 at 8:00 am
- December 24 at 8:00 am - December 28 at 8:00 am
- Ongoing coverage anticipated at approximately 14 days per month
Practice Setting & Support
- Imaging, laboratory, procedure rooms, and OR onsite
- Neurosurgeon, Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, and Neurosurgery APP support
- Cerner EMR
Requirements & Credentialing
- Board Certified Neurosurgery required; Board Eligible not accepted
- Active Michigan license required; IMLC candidates may be considered with a clean background
- ACLS required
- Fellowship training required
- Minimum 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience required
- Must be proficient in both spinal and cranial procedures
