Job Overview
We are looking to immediately hire a Florida Licensed Journeyman Electrician. We are located in Clearwater, FL. Our ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefit packages!
Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with electrical systems using tools such as voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Compliance: Conduct regular inspections and renovate existing electrical systems as needed to improve efficiency in accordance with NEC and local safety codes.
- Material Handling: Utilize power tools safely and effectively. Cut, thread, bend, and install conduit and cables,
- On Site: Replace electrical panels and locate/ install underground piping.
Experience
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
- Verifiable experience working as an Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of NEC guidelines and commercial electrical systems.
- Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety protocols associated with their use.
- Proficiency in frame carpentry for renovation projects.
