Position Overview

We are seeking Board Certified / Board Eligible Hospitalists for a locums opportunity at a small, community-focused acute care facility in California. This is an excellent opportunity for providers looking for a manageable census, supportive environment, and flexible procedural expectations.

Compensation

• $190/hour Night Shifts
• $185/hour Day Shifts

Schedule

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

Facility & Practice Details

• Acute care hospital (30 beds)
• Open ICU (5 beds)
• Average daily census: 18 patients
• 1 provider on days, 1 provider on nights
• EMR: Meditech

Clinical Responsibilities

• Admissions, rounding, discharges, and consults
• Respond to Rapid Response and Code Blue (ED handles intubations)

Procedures

• Open ICU environment
• Procedures preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active California License (Required)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (IM or FM)
• BLS & ACLS certifications

Credentialing

• Temporary privileges is an option
