What You ll Do - Admit and discharge patients at a rehab hospital setting
- Provide expert consultation and patient rounds
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans
- Participate in approximately one weekend call every seven weeks, with minimal gratis hours
- Document patient progress in Epic EMR system
- Assist with patient needs prior to leaving each shift
- Support flexible roles, transitioning between attending and consulting responsibilities as needed
What You Need - Active MA medical license; temporary licenses considered when applicable
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Board certification preferred but not mandatory
- DEA certification required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the AssignmentThis role involves working at a reputable rehabilitation hospital serving an average daily census of 15 patients. The facility emphasizes patient recovery and team collaboration, with a focus on admissions, discharges, and patient care coordination. Orientation is provided, with the first 8 hours non-billable, and travel expenses covered, including flight, hotel, and rental car.
