Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Job description

  • Work Dates Needed: Nov - Ongoing
  • Preferred Schedule: Mon- Sun (8a-8p)
  • Worksite Setting: Outpatient
  • Scope of Work:
    • Avg 3-4 patients per hour
    • All patient ages 6m+ (80% adults / 20% peds)
    • Orthopedic procedures required: splinting, suturing, wound care; I&D
    • X-rays/EKGS, blood draws/IVs
    • Medical assistances and rad techs onsite; 1-3 providers per day.
    • Provider must be comfortable working independently without supervision; physician available remotely
    • Cross Credential at 3 UC sites, 30m apart (Hanover & New Oxford)
  • Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active WV license required, BC, DEA/CSR, ACLS, BLS, PALS, min 2 years of experience in UC or 1yr of experience in EM
  • EMR: Epic
  • Pay Rate Preferred: $120/HR
