What You'll Be Doing:
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC Press Brake machines to produce top-notch parts.
- Ensuring every part is up to spec by following operation procedures and work instructions.
- Making necessary program adjustments to keep everything running smoothly.
- Choosing the right tooling for each job to guarantee part accuracy.
- Keeping meticulous records of production, including time, materials, and any scrap.
- Inspecting parts regularly to maintain quality standards.
- Performing preventative maintenance to keep machines in peak condition.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Lending a hand with other tasks around the shop when needed.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience operating CNC press brake machines.
- Knowledge of press brake tooling and various material types and thicknesses.
- Ability to use measuring gauges and calipers with confidence.
- Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills.
- Great communication skills and a team player attitude.
- Excellent time management to meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and sit for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent overhead lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable with pushing and pulling tasks continuously.
