Education, Training, & Experience
- PA with Board Certification via NCCPA for Physician Assistants
- Experience in Neurology or Neurosurgery.
- Functions well in a team environment, contributing to and supporting organizational goals and initiatives.
- Desire to be part of a growing and high-volume outpatient practice.
Practice Overview
- The Neurosurgery team currently includes four Neurosurgeons and six APPs, six ambulatory APPs, and 4 inpatient APPs.
- Responsibilities include performing patient histories, assist with treatment plans, manage post-operative care.
- Prepare complex patients for spinal and cranial surgeries with surgeon supervision including inpatient rounding and surgical first assist.
- EMR - EPIC
- Work Monday Friday with shared weekend coverage.
- Office locations could include Gainesville, Buford, Braselton and potentially Dawsonville.
- The ideal candidate will possess a mature, calm, even-keeled personality and compassionate manner. A self-starter mentality and excellent work ethic along with a positive, flexible attitude are critical.
