Interventional Cardiology Southwest Georgia
We are seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join a collaborative team of two board-certified cardiologists with strong NP support. This is a well-established, high-quality practice with a strong referral base and modern facilities.
Please note: this position does not include structural cardiology cases.
Practice Overview
- Join 2 experienced, board-certified cardiologists + NP support
- Clinic located within walking distance of the hospital campus
- Average clinic volume: 14 patients/day
- Variable inpatient volume depending on census
- Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
Call & Schedule
- Schedule: Negotiable
- Call: 7 days/month (shared among cardiology group)
- Medical/therapeutic cardiology only
- No STEMI call
- Additional call compensated separately

- Full range of interventional and diagnostic cardiology services, including:
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization
- Pacemaker and ICD implantation
- Loop recorder placement
- Cardioversion
- TEE, echocardiography, ECG, Holter monitoring
- Stress testing
- Cardiac CT and MRI
- Carotid studies

Requirements
- Completion of or upcoming completion of Interventional Cardiology fellowship
- Board certified or board eligible (must obtain certification within 5 years if eligible)
- Eligible for Georgia medical licensure or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
