This position offers a flexible schedule and focuses on surgical procedures and follow-up ophthalmologic care in a supportive clinical environment.

Clinical Responsibilities
Perform ophthalmologic surgical procedures including:
Cataract surgery
Glaucoma treatment
Pterygium procedures
Provide pre-operative and post-operative follow-up care
Evaluate and manage ophthalmology patients in a correctional healthcare setting
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Requirements
MD or DO required
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
Active North Carolina medical license required
Prior ophthalmic surgical experience preferred
Ability to independently manage surgical and follow-up patient care
