Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner

Assignment Highlights:

• Night shifts only (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Full privileges available
• Acute care hospital setting
• 28-bed ICU with a mix of Cardiac and Medical ICU patients
• Adult patient population
• No call required
• Provider will work independently with Intensivist backup available
• Credentialing includes privileges at multiple hospitals within the health system

Requirements:

• Active state license required
• Board Certified NP or PA
• Previous Critical Care experience required
• Must be highly comfortable managing high-acuity ICU patients and performing critical care procedures

Required Case Logs (within the past 12 months):

• Minimum of 15 Intubations
• Minimum of 15 Central Lines
• Minimum of 15 Arterial Lines

Providers must be able to submit procedural case logs that meet these minimum requirements throughout the entire privileging process.

Additional Clinical Requirement:

• Documentation of inpatient management for at least 100 critical care patients within the past 12 months (hospital requirement for privileges)

Certification Requirement:

• ENLS certification is required during the credentialing process.
