What You'll Do
- Manage post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgical patients
- Perform emergency surgeries when necessary
- Take consults and referrals from hospital departments (ED, Cath Lab, etc.)
- Assist during surgeries, including vein harvesting and tissue retrieval for bypass procedures
- Write prescriptions and coordinate care plans
- Interpret diagnostic tests and order additional testing
- Document procedures and patient encounters accurately in EMR (Epic)
What You Need
- Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license, with experience in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery preferred
- Ability to perform post-op management, emergency procedures, and assist in surgery
- Strong clinical skills, including vein harvesting and emergency response
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
