With consistent monthly scheduling, Epic EMR, and experienced midwife support, this assignment offers an outstanding balance of rewarding clinical practice and flexibility.

Opportunity Highlights
- Location: Paducah, Kentucky
- Practice Setting: Inpatient, hospital-based Labor & Delivery
- Coverage Need: Ongoing, approximately 6 7 24-hour shifts per month , with the potential for additional dates
- Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM 24-hour call shifts
- Patient Volume: Average 1 6 patients per day
- Annual Deliveries: Approximately births with Labor & Delivery triage visits per month
- Procedures:
- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean sections
- VBAC management
- Breech and multiple gestation deliveries
- Operative obstetrics
- Repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations
- Call: Combination of in-house and beeper/phone call coverage for EMTALA responsibilities
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: Dedicated midwives manage and deliver their own patients, with onsite laboratory and ultrasound services available. Level II nursery supports newborn care.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active Kentucky medical license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility
- Active BLS and DEA certification
