Opportunity Overview:
A well-established healthcare facility near Gorham, NH is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist (MD/DO) to provide outpatient general neurology services. This is a long-term, flexible locum opportunity with a predictable weekday schedule and no call responsibilities. Ideal for providers looking for consistent part-time work in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Office-based care for adolescents (16+) and adults
New and follow-up evaluations, medication management, patient and family education
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
Coordinating referrals to local specialties (cardiology, ortho, pain, pulmonology, sleep medicine)
Referring complex cases to tertiary care neurologists
Collaborating with PCPs and broader care teams
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must perform and interpret EMGs independently (without a technician)
Skilled in EEG interpretation
Ability to quickly obtain New Hampshire medical license must be responsive in completing all steps (e.g., application, fingerprinting)
Must complete full payer enrollment
Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology
