Opportunity Highlights - Start Date: Immediate availability with assignments running through May 31, 2025.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, covering inpatient, outpatient, OR procedures, consultations, and rounding.
- Call Requirements: On-call duties required from Friday evening to the following Friday evening. Prompt response times needed during business hours (30 minutes).
- Patient Volume: Manage approximately 11-13 patients per shift, with 1-4 admissions during on-call hours.
- Practice Setting: A blend of inpatient and outpatient services.
- Technology: Facility utilizes the Epic EMR system.
Qualifications - Board Certification: Required in Gastroenterology.
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania medical license required.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
- Skills & Procedures: Expertise in the following is highly preferred:
- Upper and lower GI endoscopy
- Biopsies and polyp removal
- ERCP diagnostic and therapeutic techniques
- Esophageal and small bowel procedures
- Colonoscopy with advanced interventions
Additional Details - Trauma Level: Non-trauma facility.
- Privileges: Temporary hospital privileges are available. Estimated credentialing time: 60-90 days.
