  • Specialty Backup: Anesthesia, ICU, Cardiology
  • Support Staff: First Assist with Endoscopic Saphenous Vein Harvest experience, focused anethesthia team dedicated CT surgery, collaborative and helpful ICU
  • No. of ORs: 1 Heart, 1 Hybrid
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline: 90 days
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Adult Cardiac Surgery (CABG, Valve Repair/Replacement)
  • General Thoracic Surgery (Tube Thoracostomy, Tracheostomy, Bronchoscopy, VATS, Pericardial Window)
  • ICU Management of high-risk cases (Impella Insertion/Removal/Bailout)
  • Structural Heart Procedure Support (in Hybrid OR / Cath Lab)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC
  • Licenses: Active KY License or willing to obtain
  • Certifications: BLS
  • Experience: Impella and Structural Heart Support experience required
  • Must be available for one set of dates listed
  • Clean record
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform Adult Cardiac Surgery including CABG and valve repair/replacement.
  • Perform General Thoracic Surgery procedures.
  • Manage ICU care for high-risk cardiac surgery patients, including Impella support.
  • Provide Structural Heart Procedure Support in Hybrid OR/Cath Lab.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia and ICU teams for patient care.
