Locums - Baraboo, Wisconsin, OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening (IMLC Accepted)
Clinical Role
- Coverage: December 2026-December 2027
- Hospital-based OB/GYN Hospitalist coverage
- Primarily Labor & Delivery
- Approximately 15 hour shifts per month
- Combination of weekday and weekend coverage
- Minimum 1-week block of coverage per month
- Approximately 120 births annually
Open Coverage
- December 7 at 7:00 am-December 14 at 7:00 am
- January 22 at 7:00 am-January 25 at 7:00 am
Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations
- Rural community hospital
- Routine labor management
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-sections
- Postpartum rounding
- Emergency gynecologic consults as needed
- No high-risk obstetrics
- CNM support
- No residents or medical students
- No 24/7 anesthesia coverage
- Epic EMR
Requirements & Credentialing
- Board certification required
- Active Wisconsin license or IMLC accepted
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
- DEA and CSR required
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Willingness to provide additional regional coverage as needed is a plus
