Nights only position with shift hours from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AMDuration of need is 3 to 6 monthsABEM board certification required2 shadow shifts required for orientation11-bed emergency department with a census of 15,000 to 16,000 patients per year, averaging 30 to 40 patients per dayAverage of 4 to 5 daily admissions with approximately 13% admission rate from the EDPatient population is young and generally healthy with low to mid acuity casesMost common cases include GI symptoms, gynecological complaints, and pediatric patientsNot a trauma, stroke, or cardiac center with minimal EMS volumeStandard ED procedures required, primarily low to mid acuityStandard ED nursing and support staff on site with a pediatrician on shift during peak hours2 ED physicians and 1 pediatrician scheduled per dayStandard call services available including pediatricsFacility:
