What You ll Do
- Provide obstetric care for patients in a Level 1 Basic NICU setting
- Collaborate with in-house anesthesia team to deliver comprehensive maternal care
- Handle an estimated 15 patient encounters per month (excluding deliveries)
- Cover OB/GYN on-call as backup support for hospital staff
- Manage standard OB deliveries and related obstetric emergencies
- Document patient interactions using Epic EMR system
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
What You Need
Required: - State medical license in Mississippi or willing to obtain
- OB certification/license
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts
- Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and fetal monitoring
Preferred: - Prior hospitalist OB experience
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system
