Orthopedics Physician

ATC West is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage at a Level II Trauma Center in Nebraska. This is a call-only opportunity with no outpatient clinic responsibilities, ideal for physicians looking for week-long assignments throughout the year.

• No clinic responsibilities
• 24-hour orthopedic trauma call coverage
• Surgical cases as needed
• EPIC EMR
• Experienced ED and OR support teams
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided

• August 10 August 16
• September 21 September 27
• October 12 October 18
• November 16 November 22
• December 7 December 13

Schedule: 24-hour call (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)

• Provide Level II orthopedic trauma call coverage
• Evaluate and manage inpatient and emergency department orthopedic consults
• Perform urgent and emergent orthopedic surgical procedures as needed
• General orthopedic care
• Fracture management
• Inpatient rounding as clinically indicated

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active Nebraska medical license required
• Experience providing trauma call coverage
• Comfortable practicing independently in a Level II Trauma environment
