A nationally recognized rehabilitation hospital in the Boston area is adding a Hospitalist. About the Opportunity:
- This is a full-time position in a 180-bed long-term acute care facility
- This is a community-based, non-academic role focused on clinical excellence in a collaborative environment
- The hospitalist will manage a panel of medically fragile patients with support from physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, nursing, pharmacy, therapy, case management, and specialty consultants
- Serve as attending physician for medically complex and post-acute rehab inpatients
- Conduct daily rounds and manage care for a typical panel of 1014 patients per day
- The schedule is Monday through Friday
- No nights or weekends
- No overnight shifts; nocturnist coverage in place
- Ability to sign up for moonlighting shifts (nights or weekends) as available
