Job description

  • Specialty:
    • Emergency Medicine
    • Will take ABEM or ABIM/ABFM
  • Coverage Needs:
    • Need ASAP - Ongoing
    • Must be able to cover 3+ shifts per month
    • Must be open to days and nights
    • Have 10-12 shifts per month to cover
  • Shifts:
    • 6a - 6p or 6p-6a
  • Setting:
    • Critical Access Hospital
    • Level 4trauma center
  • Census:
    • 6 ED beds, 2 fast track, 4 ICU beds
    • 6.8k annual ED volume
  • Support Staff:
    • 24 hours of physician coverage daily
    • NPA Shift Times: 9a-9p M-W, 10a-8p Th-F, 12p-8p Sat & Sun
  • Procedures:
    • All Standard ER procedures
  • EMR:
    • Cerner
  • Board Certification:
    • Board Certified Required
  • Travel:
    • Hospital will cover
  • Credentialing timeline:
    • Expedited Onboarding hoping for ASAPstart
  • Requirements:
    • Active LAstate license
    • Active DEA in LAor willing to transfer
    • ATLS, ACLS, PALS
