Description: We are seeking Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians for a high-impact locum tenens opportunity in Northern New Mexico serving a culturally rich and underserved community.

Mix of ER + Urgent Care Coverage
Clinical Scope: - Emergency Department coverage (trauma, acute care, walk-ins)
- Urgent Care and outpatient support
- Inpatient rounding and admissions as needed
- Occasional OB exposure depending on schedule
- Manage both acute and chronic conditions
- Full patient care from evaluation through treatment and disposition
Schedule & Coverage: - 12-hour shifts:
- Day: 8 AM 9 PM
- Night: 9 PM 9 AM
- Urgent Care coverage integrated into shifts
- Flexible block scheduling available
Patient Volume: - ER: 2 6 patients/day
- Urgent Care: 50+ walk-ins/day
- Physicians support both ER and urgent care coverage
Requirements: - MD/DO (ABEM, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine)
- Active, unrestricted U.S. license (any state accepted)
- DEA required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
- Ability to work independently in a rural setting
Additional Details: - 1.5-day orientation required
- Credentialing timeline: 6 8 weeks
