Outpatient only
Adult patient population
No call or hospital responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Evaluate and manage a broad range of neurological conditions, including:
Headaches and migraines
Stroke follow-up
Dementia and Alzheimer's disease
Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders
Multiple sclerosis
Epilepsy
Sleep disorders
Peripheral nerve and spinal cord conditions
Order and interpret neurological testing, including EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging
Provide medication management, patient education, and coordination with other specialties and rehabilitation services
Team-based environment with RN support, a dedicated MA (1:1), and an APP
APP practices independently
Multispecialty group with multiple specialties onsite
Patient population includes commercially insured, Medicaid, and Medicare patients, as well as underserved communities
EMR: Epic
MD or DO with completion of accredited neurology residency training required before starting
Active, unrestricted New York State medical license required
Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll
BLS or ACLS certification required
