Frederick, Maryland - Hospitalist Physician (Nocturnist Opening)
We are hiring for a nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Qualifications:
- Board-certified in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Hospitalist experience required.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- Full-time position follows a 7-day-on, 7-day-off rotation.
- The nocturnist position is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- The two Nocturnist physicians perform admissions and cross coverage alongside an APP. There is a swing shift admitter who works until 11pm for additional coverage.
- Our hospitalist team plays a pivotal role in the rapid response team, and the intensivist team manages codes. All team members are certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. There are no procedural requirements.
- We hold weekly huddles and monthly team meetings, in addition to lunch-and-learn sessions, to stay current on the latest medical developments at the hospital
- We work in Meditech Expand, a web-based system with access to our internal informatics platform.
- We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.

Rewards and Compensation:
- The base salary for a full-time nocturnist is $319,000, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and growth. Additional compensation is paid for shifts worked above full-time commitment.
