- Physician medically directing CRNA team
- Approximately shifts per month available
- Daytime coverage:
- Monday Friday
- 7:00 AM 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
- 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
- Call coverage:
- Monday Friday: 3:00 PM 7:00 AM pager call
- Weekends/Holidays: 24-hour pager call
- Willingness to take approximately 1 2 weekday call shifts per week and 1 2 weekends per month
- CRNA call is typically very limited , as an MD/DO is also available for first call coverage.
- Weekend coverage varies based on scheduled cases.
Facility & Practice Details:
- Busy 154-bed general acute care hospital
- Level III Trauma Center
- Approximately 4,320 annual cases
- Four operating rooms running on weekdays
- One room available on weekends as needed
- EMR: EPIC
- Credentialing timeline: Approximately 60 days
- Temporary privileges may be available (approximately 1 month)
Case Mix Includes:
- General Surgery ( 625 cases annually)
- Cardiac ( 35 cases)
- Orthopedics ( 1,400 cases annually including blocks and neuraxial anesthesia)
- Gynecology ( 200 cases)
- Ophthalmology ( 75 cases)
- Gastroenterology ( 700 cases)
- Podiatry ( 70 cases)
- Urology ( 75 cases)
- ENT ( 500 cases)
- Oral/Maxillofacial ( 70 cases)
No cases involving:
- Neuro
- Pain
- Plastics
- Thoracic
- Vascular
- Pulmonary
Provider Requirements:
- CRNA with strong regional anesthesia experience
- Ability to perform a variety of regional and nerve blocks
- Experience with:
- Orthopedic anesthesia
- TEE
- Endoscopy
- Must be comfortable working in a medically directed anesthesia model
- OB experience not required (no OB cases at this facility)
- Required Certifications:
