Oncology - Radiation Physician

Locums - Beckley, West Virginia, Radiation Oncology Opening (IMLC Welcome)

Clinical Role

• Start date: November 2, 2026
• 1-year assignment
• Full-time coverage for a retiring physician
• Hospital-based Cancer Center
• Adult patients, ages 18+
• Daytime coverage with no call

Schedule & Coverage

• 3 weeks on/1 week off or 2 weeks per month
• Approximately 3 new consultations per day
• Tuesdays include approximately 18-25 patients receiving radiation treatment

Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations

• HDR experience required
• New imaging and radiation technology package recently installed
• Radiation Technologist, APP, and RN support
• Cerner EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board certification required
• West Virginia license required
• IMLC candidates accepted; willing to license
• DEA required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Completion of an accredited education program required
