APP - General Surgery OpportunityLocation: Astoria, Oregon•Established General Surgery team seeking an experienced Physician Associate (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive surgical care. •Opportunity to practice in a 25-bed critical access hospital serving the Northern Oregon Coast. •Collaborative environment focused on high-quality outpatient and surgical care with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. Practice Details•Monday-Friday schedule with up to 10 days of call per month. •Dedicated clinic days and OR block time. •Busy rural general surgery practice with a variety of bread-and-butter surgical cases. •Autonomy to see new patients, follow-ups, and pre-/post-operative consultations. •Work collaboratively with multiple surgeons who are supportive and enjoy teaching. •Opportunity to make a direct and positive impact on patient care in a close-knit community. Required Qualifications•Minimum 2 years of surgical PA/NP experience. •Active, unrestricted Oregon PA or NP license. •Active, unrestricted DEA certificate. •Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association. Physician Associate Requirements:•Master's or bachelor's degree from an ARC-PA-approved program. •Current NCCPA certification. •Active, unrestricted Oregon Physician Associate license. Nurse Practitioner Requirements:•Master's, post-master's, or doctoral degree from a nurse practitioner program accredited by CCNE or ACEN.
