Details:

• Duration: July - ongoing
• Schedule: 2-4 weeks per month
• Shift: Monday-Sunday (exact shift times TBD)
• Call: pager weekend call for Peds only, Saturday-Sunday
• Scope: Locum Ped Anesthesiologist, inpatient scheduled OR and Pediatric Call
• Ages: 25% Pediatric and 75% Adult case mix. Scheduled OR cases and Pediatric Call only
• Require cases: Must be comfortable with doing preemies (24 weeks) in NICU. Must be able to take pediatric call including covering possible NICU/PICU cases
• Volume: Pediatric beeper call is low acuity and low volume. (No adult call, but must be able to do adult cases for scheduled OR shifts)
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital: 518 beds, level 2 Trauma center
• Group/support: full hospital support staff
• Credentialing: 60-90 days
• Require: Board Certified, Pediatric Fellowship, Must be comfortable with preemies (24 weeks) in NICU, Must be able to take Pediatric Call including covering possible NICU/PICU cases, Must be able to cover adult cases
