Assignment Details
• Start/end: Starts 8/1, ongoing
• Schedule: Call only; beeper call, 30-min response, 1:3 ratio, 25% callback
• Coverage type: Call only, inpatient
• Volume: 7 patients/shift; 1 admission per call; 15 beds
• Setting: Level 3 trauma, stroke certified, admissions required
• Support: 7 RNs, 2 office staff
• EMR: Cerner and Athena
• Credentialing: 30 days
Clinical Details
• Required scope: Non-invasive ventilation management (neo-puff), newborn ventilation (acute), newborn intubation, UVC, UAC, needle pneumothorax decompression
• Preferred scope: Chest tube insertion, suturing minor lacerations, circumcision
• Rounds on assigned and unassigned patients
Requirements
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
• License: OK required
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Active DEA
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
