Opportunity for Palliative Care Physician Location: Johnson City• Opportunity for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Palliative Care Physician to serve in an outpatient-focused role with Associate Medical Director responsibilities. • Monday-Friday schedule with approximately 90% clinical care and 10% leadership/administrative duties. Join an established multidisciplinary team of: •Physicians •Nurse Practitioners •Social Workers •Administrative leadership Provide comprehensive outpatient palliative care services, including: •New patient consultations and follow-up visits •Physical examinations and diagnostic interpretation •Evidence-based treatment planning •Symptom management for pain, dyspnea, nausea, mood disorders, and functional decline •Advance care planning and goals-of-care discussions •Patient-centered, values-based care for patients and families Support program growth by: •Developing new outpatient initiatives •Enhancing palliative care service lines •Improving operational workflows •Assisting with strategic planning and program expansion •Evaluating clinical care models, quality, productivity, patient experience, and health equity • Collaborate with hospital departments and specialty providers to strengthen primary palliative care delivery throughout the health system. • Participate in interdisciplinary team rounding within a collaborative and supportive practice environment.
