Locums OB/GYN Hospitalist Tucson, AZ (AZ license required)Why This Role

- Strong support: 15-20 RNs, plus employed hospitalists, community OB/GYNs, MFM groups, and CNM team
- Multiple openings (6 providers needed)
Assignment Details- Start: June 1, 2026, ongoing
- Schedule: In-house OB hospitalist coverage, night shifts
- Commitment: roughly 5 shifts/month
- Volume: 6-24 patients/shift; 5,000-6,000 deliveries/year
- Setting: Inpatient + outpatient, 24 beds, Level 4 trauma
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: 30 days
- Nearest airport: Tucson International
Clinical Details- Full-scope OB: low- and high-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasound (Level I), routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, c-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBAC), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair, c-section decision-making
- Preferred: OB ultrasound performance/interpretation, Level II ultrasound, low forceps, surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, operative/major)
Requirements- Board Certified in OB/GYN (board certification must be for OB/GYN)
- Fellowship required
- Active Arizona license
- ACLS, NRP
- Clean NPDB, malpractice, and background check
Compensation- Rate negotiable, open to your number
- Malpractice provided
- Travel and lodging reimbursed
