Assignment Details- Start/end: Starts 10/19, ongoing (authorized through 2/1/2027)
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts; centers open 8A-8P Mon-Fri, 9A-5P Sat/Sun (moving to 12-hour weekend shifts); no call, no overtime. Preference for providers who can work blocks, weekdays, and weekends
- Coverage type: Outpatient urgent care
- Volume: 36-48 patients/shift; 4 rooms
- Setting: Urgent care centers throughout the St. Louis metro area; onsite X-ray and EKG
- Support: MAs, scribes, rad techs (no RN/LPN support)
- EMR: Epic (training provided after credentialing/onboarding)
- Credentialing: 120 days
Clinical Details- Required scope: Urgent care for adults and pediatrics; minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), reading EKGs and X-rays
- Must be trained to see both adults and pediatrics
- Proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months required
Requirements- Residency-trained and board certified (or board eligible within 5 years) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds - ABMS or AOB only, no other boards accepted
- License: MO or IMLC
- BLS (must be current, direct from AHA)
- Active DEA
Compensation- Rate negotiable, open to your number
