• 10-14 days/month, defined blocks Sept through December

Assignment Details
• Start/end: Defined blocks - 9/8-18, 9/28-10/2, 11/16-30, 12/18-23; 10-14 days/month
• Schedule: Clinic 8am-5pm (may be on site earlier for surgery); beeper call, 15-min response, 1:2 or 1:3 ratio. Breakdown 60% clinic, 10% hospital, 30% procedures/surgeries
• Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call, inpatient and outpatient
• Volume: 16-20 patients/shift
• Setting: Level 2 trauma, stroke certified, admissions required; children's hospital
• Support: 1 RN, 4 MAs, 5 PA/NPs, 1 office staff; will supervise APPs
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing: 60 days
Clinical Details
• Required scope: General adult urology, laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures; typical procedures include cystoscopy, stent placement/removal, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, bladder instillation
• Preferred scope: Pediatric urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, PCNL, partial nephrectomy/intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, ESWL
• Must be willing to treat pediatric testicular torsion and some pediatric urology patients presenting to the ER
• Rounds on assigned and unassigned patients
Requirements
• Board certified or board eligible in Urology
• License: any state accepted
• BLS
• Active DEA
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
