• Extended Sunday-through-Saturday coverage blocks
• Inpatient cardiology with 24-hour call
• No outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Three inpatient APPs provide clinical support
• Cerner EMR
Assignment Details
• Schedule: Sunday ÄìSaturday coverage blocks
• Hours: 6am Äì6am
• Coverage: Inpatient services plus 24-hour call
• Weekend coverage required
• No outpatient clinic
• Setting: Hospital-based
• EMR: Cerner
• Local or drive-in providers only; flights are not permitted
Requirements
• Board-certified Cardiologist
• Active Michigan medical license
• Active DEA
• Must reside in Michigan or within driving distance
• Clean malpractice, licensing, and professional history with no exceptions
• Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days required at presentation
• Must provide availability during initial review
• Must complete facility employee-health requirements, including:
- Influenza and COVID-19 documentation - TB testing and questionnaire - Hepatitis B documentation or declination - MMR and varicella immunization records or titers - Current Tdap vaccination Clinical Details
• Inpatient general cardiology coverage
• Echocardiography
• Treadmill stress testing
• Chemical stress testing
• Interpretation of echocardiograms and stress studies
• Supported by three inpatient Advanced Practice Providers
